The NANOTUN3D project, coordinated by the Instituto Tecnológico Metalmecánico, Mueble, Madera, Embalaje y Afines, AIDIMME, was one of the two projects presented as success stories in the conference, INFODAY REGIONAL H2020 Nanotechnologies, advanced materials and manufacturing processes and biotechnology, held in the Administrative City 9 d’ Octubre, last October 30th.
The conference was organised by IVACE, REDIT and SEIMED – Enterprise Europe Network. 75 attendees registered at the event.
In addition to AIDIMME’s intervention, presentations were given by CDTI, AIMPLAS, Laurentia Technologies (also a participant in NANOTUN3D) and Biópolis.
NANOTUN3D, which seeks the development of a new nanomodified alloy, specifically designed for additive manufacturing applications, has a consortium of 9 partners from 5 countries. It began in October 2015 and is expected to be completed in the first part of 2019.
